De intenciones / About intentions

   A pesar de la falta de palabras por este territorio curupisano, no he abandonado la costumbre de incursionar por territorios virtuales ajenos. Han sido muchas las palabras que he debido articular en otras esferas (la doméstica y la del trabajo), que tejer ideas para este espacio ha sido un desafío irrealizable.

La mayor parte de lo que he tejido han sido escritos, pero en los pocos momentos en que la tromba, que fue el año pasado para mí, me dio un respiro, hice cosas con las manos (y no sólo con palabras).

   Me gustaría comenzar este nuevo año enunciando mis mejores intenciones con respecto a este espacio (según parece, es lo debido, de acuerdo con las tácitas convenciones que rigen para el mundo bloguero crafteril): hacer más, escribir más, mostrar más, enseñar más cómo hacer lo mostrado.

   Evidentemente, estas resoluciones, comunes en el inicio del año entre los blogs que acostumbro visitar, correrán la misma suerte que todas las que enunciamos al iniciar el ciclo de un nuevo calendario: vaya uno a saber en qué desembocarán,... la vida es una cosa inasible e indomable.

   La única resolución posible tiene que ver con una máxima filosófica que decidimos adoptar en la familia curupisa: se hace lo que se puede. Con la mejor intención... Aunque, según recuerdo haber oído de la boca de esposo curupiso, el camino del infierno está tapizado de buenas intenciones...

   Despite the lack of words in this curupisan territory, I haven't abandoned the habit of making incursions through other people's virtual territories. The thing is, I  had to articulate too many words in other spheres (the domestic one and the one related to my job), so weaving ideas for this space has been an unattainable challenge.

   Most of what I had to interweave was a load of writing, but in the few moments that I had in the middle of the whilwind that was this year for me, I managed to make stuff (and not just with words).

I'd like to start this new year formulating my intentions for this space (as it seems, it is what should be done, according to implicit standards that rule in the crafty world): make more, write more, show how to do the shown stuff.

   Obviously, these resolutions, common among the blogs I usually visit, will share the same luck as the other resolutions we formulate with the start of a new calendar: whoever knows what shall become of them,... life is an elusive and untameable thing.

   The only possible resolution is related to a philosophical adage, that in the curupisan family we decided to adopt: you do what you can. With the best of intentions... Although, as I recall, I've heard from curupisan husband's  lips, the path to hell is carpeted with good intentions...
