Para una Curupisa doméstica, hay en su habitat una galería de artes de múltiple naturaleza: dibujos de sus retoños, imanes de fabricación casera, imanes traídos como souvenir de viajes propios y ajenos, cuentas que pagar, recibos de vieja data. Además, se trata del órgano difusor al que apuntan los ojos de la casa, a su paso.

For a domestic Curupisa, there's in her habitat a gallery for arts of multiple nature. That is, artwork made by her offsprings, home-made fridgies, fridgies brought from her own and other people's trips, bills to pay, receits from yore. Besides, it is the difussing organ where all eyes aim at, when passing by.

Así que la Curupisa decidió construir un pequeño espacio allí, para dejar mensajes de aliento. Si querés hacer esto mismo, necesitarás un montoncito de irreciclables hojas A4 usadas*, pegamento universal, cintas adhesivas decorativas y una máquina de coser.

So the Curupisa decided to make a small space in there, to leave  encouraging messages. If you want to do this, take a bunch of used unreciclabe* A4 sheets of paper, some magnet sheet, some glue, some decorative self- adhesive tape and a sewing machine.

Doblá las hojas usadas, en dos, de arriba abajo. Cortalas por la línea del doblez. Volvé a doblar las mitades de lado a lado.

Fold the sheets, from up to down. Cut by the folding line. Fold the pieces from side to side. 

Cortá por el doblez. Encimá las hojas con la impresión hacia el lado posterior. Formá pequeños blocks de entre 4 y 6 hojas.

Cut again by the folding line. Stack up the pieces of paper, with the printed side facing backwards. The piles should have 4 to 6 sheets, top.

Cosé las hojas a máquina de lado a lado, en la parte superior, con un margen de costura de unos 7,5 mm.
Sew the sheets with the machine, by the upper part, from side to side, at about a third of an inch from the edge.

Aquí tenés esos tiernos blockcitos en ristra.
There you have those cute little blocks on a string.

Pegá los blocs entre sí, por el margen de costura que dejaste.
Glue the piles to each other, by the seam allowance you left.

Pegá una plancha de imán a la parte de atrás de los blocks. Aquí estoy reusando una plancha de un anotador anterior, que ya fue usado del todo.
Glue a sheet of magnet to the wrong side. Here I'm reusing one from a previous notepad, that is all worn out.

La costura sirve para unir las hojas y para que se pueda cortar el papel, cuando sea necesario.
The seams work for joining the sheets, but also for ripping them off, when necessary.

Para darle una buena terminación, pegá una cinta adhesiva con dibujitos, en la parte superior. Comenzá desde la parte posterior, pasá por la delantera y terminá en la parte posterior de nuevo.
To get a nice finishing, use some decorative tape. Start taping from the wrong side, then go along the right side and finish on the wrong side again.

Cuidá que la cinta no tape del todo la costura, para que se pueda arrancar el papel sin problemas. No olvides tunear una birome haciendo juego.
Take care not to cover the seams, so you have no trouble when pulling off the paper.
Don't forget to tune up a matching pen.

Empleá el anotador para dejar mensajes motivadores a tu familia. Total, siempre se puede arrancar la hojita y volver a escribir.
Use the notepad to leave motivational messages to your family. Anyway, you can always pull the paper off and write again.

* Ya sabés, no podés reciclar este papel, pues la tinta de la impresora es muy tóxica. Bueno, así me dijeron. / You know, you can't recycle this paper, as the printer ink makes it too toxic. Well, so I was told.
