Agarradera tropical / Tropical potholder
Agarradera con forma de ananá a crochet
Materiales:
Hilo de algodón de 6 hebras, en amarrillo y en verde.
Aguja de crochet de 4 mm.
Puntos:
pb, pa doble, cad, dism, aum, pr. Ver términos en la barra de la derecha.
Instrucciones:
Se trabaja desde la parte inferior del ananá con hilo amarillo.
19 cad de base.
1a. v: 7 pa doble en la 5ta cad, saltar 4cad, 1 pb en la sigte. cad, saltar 4 cad, 7 pa dobles en la cad sigte, saltar 4 cad y terminar con 1 pb en la última cad.
2a. v: 4 cad y 3 pa dobles en el 1er. bajo, 1 pb en el 4to pa doble del primer grupo, 7 pa dobles en el pb de vuelta anterior, 1 pb en el 4to. pa doble del sigte grupo, 4 pa dobles en el último pb de vuelta anterior.
3a. v: 1 cad para girar, 1 pb sobre el 1er pa doble, 7 pa dobles en el bajo sigte, 1 pb sobre el 4to pa doble del grupo de 7, 7 pa dobles en el bajo sigte, 1 pb sobre el último pa doble.
Repetir 3 veces las vueltas 2 y 3.
10a. v: llegar con pr hasta el centro del 1er grupo de 7 pa dobles, 1 cad y 1 pb, 7 pa dobles en el pb sigte, 1 pb en el centro del segundo grupo de pa dobles.
Hacer una vuelta alrededor de todo el cuerpo del ananá.
Con hilo verde, para las hojas:
Iniciar sobre el 1er pb de la vuelta 10 del ananá.
1a. v: 9 pb.
2a. v: 1 cad para girar, 1 aum en el primer pb, 1 pb en c/u de los 7 pb sigtes, 1 aum en el último.
3a. v: 1 cad, 1 aum, 1 pb en los sigtes. 2 pb, 1 aum en el cuarto, 1 pb en los 2 sigtes, 1 aum en el pb sigte, 1 pb en los sigtes 2 pb, 1 aum.
Desde aquí se trabaja cada hoja por separado.
1a. hoja:
4a., 5a. y 6a. v: 1 cad y 6 pb.
7a. v: 1 cad, 1 disminución simple, 4 pb.
8a. v: 1 cad y 5 pb.
9a. v: 1 cad, 1 dism, 3 pb.
10a. v: 1 cad, 4 pb.
11a. v: 1 cad, 1 dism, 2 pb.
12a. v: 1 cad, 3 pb.
13a. v: 1 cad, 1 dism doble (3pb juntos). Rematar y esconder el hilo.
2a. hoja:
4a. v: 2 pb en el último pb de la hoja anterior, en la vuelta 4, 1 pb en los dos pb sigtes, 2 pb en el que sigue. Girar.
5a., 6a. y 7a. v: 1 cad, 6 pb.
8a. v: 1 cad, 4 pb, 1 dism.
9a. v: 1 cad, 5 pb.

Iniciar en el último pb de la 4a v de la 2a hoja.
4a., 5a. y 6a. v: 1 cad y 6 pb.

Hacer una vuelta de pb por todo el borde de las hojas. En los espacios entre hojas, tejer juntos el último pb de una hoja y el 1ero de la otra. En las puntas, tejer 3 pb sobre el mismo punto.
Para que sea más rígida, se puede hacer dos cuerpos con sus hojas y unirlas con la vuelta de bajos alrededor. La otra posibilidad, por la que opté yo, es hacerle un fondo con paño lenci por dentro y una cubierta de tela, con la forma del ananá, que va cosida al tejido con punto festón.
Para colgarla, se puede fabricar una argolla, enrollando el hilo alrededor de dos dedos y sobre esta argolla, completar una vuelta de pb. Se cose esta argolla en la parte posterior de la agarradera.
Crochet potholder in the shape of a pineapple
Materials:
4 mm crochet hook.
Stitches:
sc, tc, inc, dec, ch, sl st. See terms on the bar on the right.
Instructions:
You work from the bottom upwards, with yellow yarn.
19 ch.
1st r: 7 tc on 5th ch, skip 4 ch, 1 sc on next ch, skip 4 ch, 7 tc on next ch, skip 4 ch and finish with a sc on last ch.
2nd r: 4 ch and 3 tc on the 1st sc, 1 sc on the 4th tc in the first group of 7 tc, 7 tc on the next sc, 1 sc on the 4th tc of next group, 4 tc on last sc.
3rd r: 1 ch, 1 sc on 1st tc, 7 tc on next sc, 1 sc on the 4th tc of the group of 7, 7 tc on next sc, 1 sc on last tc.
Repeat rows 2 and 3, three more times.
10th r: with some sl st, get to the 4th tc in the first 7 tc group, 1 ch and 1 sc, 7 tc on the next sc, 1 sc on the 4th tc on next group.
Now, make a round of sc all around the pineapple.
Start on the first sc from round 10
1th r: 9 sc.
2nd r: 1 ch, 2 sc on 1st sc, 1 sc on the next 7 st, 2 sc on the last one.
3rd r: 1 ch, 1 inc on first sc,1 sc on next 2 sc, 1 inc on the 4th, 1 sc on the next 2 sc, 1 inc on next sc, 1 sc on the next 3 st, 1 inc.
From here on, you work each leaf separately.
1st leaf:
4th, 5th. y 6th. r: 1 ch and 6 sc.
7th r: 1 ch, 1 dec, 4 sc.
8th r: 1 ch y 5 sc.
9th r: 1 ch, 1 dec, 3 sc.
10th r: 1 ch, 4 sc.
11th r: 1 ch, 1 dec, 2 sc.
12th r: 1 ch, 3 sc.
13th r: 1 ch, 1 dec of 3 st (3 sc together). Fasten off and weave in yarn.
2nd leaf:
4th r: 1 ch and an inc on the last sc on 4th r from the previous leaf, 1 sc on next 2 st, 1 inc on next one. Turn.
5th, 6th y 7th r: 1 ch, 6 sc.
8th r: 1 ch, 4 pb, 1 dec.
9th r: 1 ch, 5 sc.
10th r: 1 ch, 1 dec, 3 sc.
11th r: 1 ch y 4 sc.
12th r: 1 ch, 2 sc, 1 dec.
13th r: 1 ch, 3 sc.
14th r: 1 ch, 1 dec, 1 sc.
15th r: 1 ch, 1 dec. Fasten off and weave in yarn.
Start on the last sc on 4th r from 2nd leaf.
4th, 5th. y 6th r: 1 ch y 6 sc.
7th r: 1 ch, 4 sc, 1 dec.
8th r: 1 ch and 5 sc.
9th r: 1 ch, 3 sc, 1 dec.
10th r: 1 ch, 4 sc.
11th r: 1 ch, 2 sc, 1 dec.
12th r: 1 ch, 3 sc.
13th r: 1 ch, 3 st dec (3pc together). Fasten off and weave in yarn.
Sc on the edge al around the leaf. In between leaves, 2 sc together inserting the hook on the last sc in one leaf and the first of the next one. On top of the leaves, 3 sc.
To make it sturdier, you can crochet two pineapples and join them when making the last r of sc around the potholder. The other alternative (which I took) is to put a layer of felt and some fabric on top of that. It has to be the same shape of the pineapple and you join with some blanket stitching around.
For hanging the potholder, you can make a ring, by wrapping the yarn around two fingers, 15 times and working over this ring with some sc to complete the round. You just sew this ring on the back of the potholder.
