Este año de 2016, que se va terminando lentamente, trajo cientos de cosas consigo. Entuertos, vueltas, remolinos, cambios, trabajo, complicaciones, mezquindades, pero en el fondo, como si fuera una caja de Pandora, quedó lo bueno, que sí lo hubo.

Para darle un cierre festivo a este año, te muestro esta mi cajita de Pandora, con las instrucciones para hacerla. La hice para el desafío #crochet365, que estuve siguiendo en Instagram. Recordá que podés seguirme allí, que es donde he estado más activa estos últimos tiempos.

This year of 2016, which is slowly coming to its end, brought hundreds of things. Twists and turns, whirlwinds, changes, work, complications, meanness, but in the end, as it were a Pandora box, what was left were the good things.

To have a festive closing to this year, I want to show you my little Pandora box, with the instructions to make it. I made this as I try to keep up with the #crochet365 back on my Instagram account. Remember that you can follow me there, where I've been more active the last months.

Materiales: 

Hilo y ganchillo acorde al mismo.

Para la caja más chiquita, usé hilo de bolsas, cortado en una sola hebra y ganchillo de acero 2/00 (2mm). Para la otra, usé hilo de algodón de 6 hebras y aguja de 4mm.

Materiales:

Yarn and hook that suits the yarn.

For the small box I used one strand plarn and 2/00 (2mm) steel hook. For the bigger box, I used 6 ply cotton yarn and 4mm hook.

Puntos:

cad., pb, pr, pb en relieve atrás.

Stitches:

ch, sc, sl st, back post sc.

Tapa:

1a v: 1 cad y 7 pb en una anilla ajustable. Cerrar todas las vueltas con pr. (7pb)

2a. v: 1 cad (no cuenta como 1 pb), 1 aum en cada pb. Cerrar. (14 pb)

3a. v: 1cad, *1 aum en un punto, 1 pb en el siguiente*, repetir 6 veces más. Cerrar. (21 pb)

4a. v: 1 cad, *pb en los dos pb sigtes., 1 aum en el sigte*, repetir 6 veces más. Cerrar. (28 pb)

5a. v: 1 cad, *1 aum, 3 pb*, repetir 6 veces más. Cerrar. (35 pb)

Hasta aquí llegamos con las vueltas de aumentos, que son la que servirán para lograr el ancho deseado. Si querés, podés hacer la caja más grande, agregando vueltas de aumentos. Solamente tendrás que aumentar en un punto la cantidad de pb entre aumentos, en cada vuelta.

6a. v: 1 cad, en cada pb hacer un pb en relieve atrás. Cerrar (35 pb)

7a. v: 1 cad, 1 pb en cada pb. Cerrar. Cortar el hilo y rematar.

Lid:

1st r: 1 ch and 7 sc in an adjustable ring. Close this round and the others with a sl st. (7sc)

2nd r: 1 ch (doesn't count as a sc), 1 inc on each sc (14sc). Close.

3rd r: 1 ch, *1 inc on one stitch, 1 sc on the next one*, repeat 6 more times. Close. (21 st)

4th r: 1 ch, *sc on next 2 sc, 1 inc on next one*, repeat 6 more times. Close. (28 st)

5th r: 1 ch, *1 inc, 3 sc*, repeat 6 more times. Close. (35 st)

Here we finish with the increase rounds, which will give you the diameter of the box.If you want it to be wider, just add increase rounds. You do this by adding every round a stitch to the amount of sc between increases.

6th r: 1 ch, on each stitch, 1 back post sc. Close. (35 st).

7th r: 1 ch, sc on each st. Close. Cut the yarn and weave in.

Caja:

Para que la caja quepa en la tapa, se trabaja una vuelta menos de aumentos, es decir, si la tapa tiene 5 vueltas de aumentos, la caja tendrá 4. Para lograr la altura deseada, podés tejer tantas vueltas sin aumentos como quieras. Lo aconsejable sería que hagas, por lo menos, una vuelta más que la de la tapa. Aquí yo hice 5 vueltas.

6a. a 9a. v: 1 cad, 1 pb en cada pb.

10a. v: 1 cad, 1 pb en cada pb. Cerrar. Cortar el hilo y rematar.

Box:

To get the lid to fit on top, make the box 1 round smaller, i. e. if your lid has 5 increase rounds, the box will have 4 inc rounds. To get the desired height, you can crochet as many rounds with no increases as you want. I'd advise you to crochet at least one round more tan the ones on the lid (if the lid has 2 rounds with no increases, the box should have at least 3 of them). In this case, I crocheted 5 rounds.
