A veces los tejidos siguen por caminos tales que es necesario poner mojones. Para eso sirven los marcapuntos, que tienen formas muy variadas. Algunos son cerrados y otros abiertos, algunos son fabricados específicamente para esa función y otros son producto de la improvisación.
