Donde me hallo / Where I find myself

 

Mi hogar siempre está donde se hallan los indicios de mi gente, donde me encuentro con mi gente, donde me hallo. Donde me hallo, donde mi gente me deja ser. Por estas comarcas, justamente, usamos la expresión me hallo para indicar que nos sentimos a gusto y donde se despliega nuestro auténtico ser.

My home is always where the clues of my people are, where I meet my people, where I find myself. Where I find myself is where my people let me be. In these regions, precisely, we use the expression I find myself to indicate that we feel comfortable and where our authentic being unfolds.

Ese lugar donde me hallo es un lugar físico, pero, a la vez, no lo es. Es un entorno que se crea cuando, con los seres que me rodean y los que me habitan, disponemos los enseres de la cotidianeidad, en la ronda ritual del alimento, los itinerarios de la charla diaria y, obviamente, los indicios de mis entretejidos en cada superficie donde se posa el ambiente generado.

That place where I am is a physical place, but, at the same time, it is not. It is an environment that is created when, with the beings that surround me and those that inhabit me, we settle the everyday belongings, in the ritual round of food, the itineraries of daily talk and, obviously, the hints of my interweaving in each surface where the generated environment rests.

Este año, finalmente, además de ese lugar simbólico donde me hallo, tengo este espacio que mi gente me ha creado un rincón para ejercer la libertad de hallarme.

This year, finally, in addition to that symbolic place where I find myself, I have this space that my people have created, a corner for me to exercise the freedom of finding myself.
